Mérida, Mexico

Where to Fly

Mérida sits on the north end of the Yucatan Peninsula. You can fly into Mérida or Cancun, but we would recommend flying into Mérida as it’s a short drive to the venue and nearby accommodations.

Mérida Intl. Airport (MID) ✈️

This airport is a 40-minute drive from the venue, and only a 15-minute drive from downtown Mérida. There are daily flights from Miami and Houston.

Cancun Intl. Airport (CUN) ✈️

This airport is about a 3.5 hour drive from Mérida, but there will be more direct flight options. Transportation by private car can easily be arranged.

TRANSPORTATION AROUND MERIDA

Rental Cars: Rental Cars are available at the Mérida International Airport and are great for exploring outside the city, but if you are planning on staying in the city you probably won’t need one.

Taxi/Ubers: Taxis and Ubers are generally safe to use in the city and a great way to get around. Please note that Ubers are not allowed to pick up passengers at the airport, but there will be taxis available.

Wedding Festivities: We will be organizing transportation to the various festivities during the week. Details to come!

Where to Stay

There are several room blocks for wedding guests to choose from, both in the city center and outside the city. For the planned wedding festivities (March 6th-8th), we suggest you stay at Hacienda Xcanatun or Hacienda Yabucu as transportation to the events will be provided from those two Hotels. If you plan on arriving early in the weekend or have a late/early flight in or out, we suggest you pick the Hyatt or Marriott.
